Storyline 360 Modules

As students stretch technical their reading skills, they also stretch their thinking skills, engage with characters, and learn the general flow of stories. Guided Reading lessons, like the one posted here, support readers as they grow.

I have built and voiced hundreds of guided reading modules similar to this lesson.

The work represented here is, start-to-finish, all my own. I authored the source material, a children's chapter book titled Dave, Right On Time, and illustrated the book using AI. I scripted and designed all lesson content, built the module in Storyline 360, and supplied all voicing and audio editing.

Kids need lots of out-loud reading practice to achieve fluency at their current reading level. My company's once-a-week classes were not enough, by themselves, to meet the practice needs.

I was given a task: create at-home, online fluency practice that students could do completely on their own, as needed by the individual student.

In the end, my design here was chosen for first through fourth grade. I have created and voiced hundreds of practice modules.

Kindergarten students learn high frequency words as sight words--words they know by sight, instead of by blending the letters together.

Kids need lots of exposure to these words and practice recognizing them both on their own, and within connected text. Lessons like this address those needs directly.

I have created hundreds of custom interactives in Storyline. I'm including screenshots of some fun prototypes that went on to be used in scores of lessons.

In addition to the work I do for children, I also design and create courses for adult audiences.

I built this Turkey Day Tutoring course based on a 2023 Design Challenge from the eLearning Designer's Academy.

A fictional company, Gobble Farms, wants to provide their customers with a guide to cooking frozen turkeys. Resources provided: the company logo, preferred fonts, and brand colors.
